OUR HERITAGE

Bryson City Funeral Home & Memorial Services came into existence in September of 2009, after the building was purchased by Patricia and Mondee Monteith in 2007.   Between 2007 and 2009 the property was vacant.  In 2009 the decision was made to open Bryson City Funeral Home & Memorial Services to provide more service options to the people of Swain County and the surrounding areas. Before opening Bryson City Funeral Home & Memorial Services the building underwent renovation.  The facilities have been updated and the service offerings are state of the art.  Our chapel is capable of seating 115 people and we have to two additional rooms avaliable to our families and their guest during visitations.  We welcome you to come by to visit.  While your here we would be honored to show you the funeral home and to talk with you about a personal funeral or memorial service.
